Most of us tend to glance through the manual when we first get our spanking new machine and experiment a little with the settings, then end up picking a couple of settings to stick with forevermore. All the different buttons, symbols and timings might seem daunting, but it’s worthwhile to know how to make the most out of your washer dryer to save you time, energy, money and also, wouldn't you want to take the best care of your clothes? You can also use this function to wash out stains, just be sure to first try removing the stain while it’s fresh by dabbing it with a bit of soap water before popping it in the wash. It pretty much guarantees that you’ll never have to wash any laundry by hand ever again. To keep things simple, here are 5 easy to remember categories: Cottons: Standard washing programme for textiles made of cotton or linen Easy-Care: For textiles made of synthetic materials or blended fabrics Mixed Load: For washing natural and synthetic textiles together in a single load HygieneCare: Pretreat dry laundry by hot air followed by a low temperature washing cycle to achieve the most hygienic wash results for non-delicate fabrics. Drum Clean: To maintain the hygiene of the washer drum and remove residual lint. Materials such as wool or silk may be on the no-no list, but it's good to check the labels and make a mental note of items that can't go in the dryer.

There are two different types of drying programmes - Gentle and Intensive - so pick the one that suits your needs. Regular cotton items or lighter clothing would be more appropriate for a Gentle Dry, while towels and sheets would be better suited for Intensive Dry. Now that you know all that your washer dryer can do, I bet you can’t wait to try out a new setting with your next load of laundry! As a general rule of thumb, always follow the temperature and wash programme selection instructions on the care label to keep your clothes in tiptop condition. A dishwasher washes dishes and utensils both quickly and precisely, giving you the luxury of relaxing at home without having to worry about washing up after your meals. It washes slowly but there's a good reason - it's gentle on your clothes and leaving the washing to soak in the detergent means you use the chemistry more efficiently. The less razzle dazzle it's got, the more thought is put behind the machine itself. You buy them, your paying extra just so those little extra buttons and wash cycles are going to screw up sooner, and from the look of those reviews, their marketing research has really paid off. Very Quiet compared to a top loader, only gets a 'bit' excited at the end and one time at bandcamp I just squatted looking through the glass front and watched the spinning it's wicked how quick they can go! Clothes came out AMAZING. I was very cynical before and always washed all my clothes in cold water. I hate throwing away expensive clothes because of dyes running. Agitators from top loaders are a girls nightmare, I finally seen what the fuss is all about. Quite fast cycles, well there fast enough to get a decent result. I do not recommend that it is moved without these as the drum i assume is suspended to a degree and jostling it in a move could damaged it.
